I try to read a few survivour stories every week got this may 17 2023 still recovering every story is an insperation ive fought that fight not everyones battle is the same lots of hard work gose into recovery some pepple it takes years but we get back and we get better i for one am very grateful for nurses support teams doctors phisio and even administration for the amazing job those people do every day going way over pay grade to ensure we have what we need i thank my faith my lord and saviour and each and every one that fed me washed me wiped my behind for thier part in my slow return to my family and life blessing for all

Their medical system is better than that of many nations. // I came to this as a former GBS patient, so I identify with Timothee. I am very happy for his recuperation. 100 days is a long time for a hospitalization. Mine was only 16 days, although I needed to walk with a cane for several months after that, and several times I felt that I was exhausted. Timothee should always remember to watch himself so that he does not overextend himself physically, even with news of a full recovery. GBS can recur later in life for any of us.

my Mom has been in the hospital for a month , after she got her second vaccine for covid she started having fever and pain in stomach and weak muscles through out her entire body, the doctors dont know what it is until now still dont know, ive only found out about this disease tonight, and have written notes for my dad to take to the hospital to show the doctor and hopefully they do a diagnosis check on my mom as shes been constipated for almost two months, heart issues, not eating or sleeping due to stress throuh constipation and full body pain, unable to do anything or walk and shes been in the hospital for a month yet the doctors r trying to kick her out of the hospital after this last week since they couldnt diagnose anything, this is her last week and my intuition and God guided me through all of the info i could find on her symptoms, and other peoples symptoms, doctors say its all in their heads until its too late and they start becoming numb and paralyzed, i truly hope that this is not what my mom has and if she does have this i hope the dctores take it serious aand i hope my dad takes it serious that ive come to this conclusion, my parents never took me serious all my life. this is to save my moms life. please pray for my mom chi man tang.... we're from toronto, but my mom was born in vietnam. my instagram is @eyecxi, please contact me in dm if you know anything about what ive described.. please... 555, 777, 999, 111, we are one, God save us

I had GBS last year 2019; 5 days before my Wedding.I was unconscious for 1 whole month. Thank God I survived within 2-4 months 😘

IN DECEMBER 2019 HAD LUNG INFECTION AND THEN AN INTESTINAL INFLAMMATION AND INFECTION WHICH LASTED TILL FEBRUARY BEGINNING . HAD CT SCAN AND COLONOSCOPY AND THERE WAS NOTHING SERIOUS IN THE REPORT AND AFTER 2 WEEKS GOT GBS .FIRST THE NUMBNESS WAS THERE ONLY IN FEET AND PALM AND AFTER 3 WEEKS IT PROCEEDED THROUGHOUT MY BODY . MY MOVEMENTS AND REFLEXES SLOWED BUT WASN'T PARALYZED . BY THAT TIME CORONA LOCK DOWN STARTED . DIDN'T GO TO HOSPITAL . MOST OF THE DOCTORS IN PRIVATE HOSPITALS WERE NOT CONSULTING . MY FAMILY GENERAL PHYSICIAN ASKED ME TO STAY HOME WITH TOTAL REST AND ASKED ME TO TAKE FEW PILLS MOSTLY VITAMIN . HAD HEAVY SYMPTOMS FOR 2 MONTHS THEN SLOWLY THE SYMPTOMS STARTED TO COME DOWN AND STARTED TO RECOVER . NOW FEELING BETTER BUT NOT YET GAINED MY FULL STRENGTH . THIS WHOLE EPISODE OF ILLNESS WAS THE WORST IN MY LIFE TIME . WANT TO KNOW WHEN I WILL RECOVER MY FULL STRENGTH AND WHETHER THERE IS A CHANCE OF GETTING IT AGAIN .
